Anurag Thakur assured the wrestlers again, said – the government will fulfill all the assurances given to the wrestlers

Speaking to reporters after the 100th meeting of the Mission Olympic Cell (MOC) at the Karni Singh Shooting Range here, Anurag Thakur said, “We will fulfill whatever assurances we have given to the players.” The charge sheet will be filed by June 15. After that whatever decision has to be taken, the court will take it. On the question of Brij Bhushan’s arrest, he said, ‘The legal process will be followed. After the filing of the charge sheet, action will be taken according to the verdict given by the court.

IOA is looking into the functioning of wrestling

On the question of the wrestling selection trials for the Asian Games to be held in Hangzhou, China from September 23 to October 8, he said, ‘The Indian Olympic Association’s ad hoc committee is looking after the work of wrestling. He is instructed to conduct the selection trial before June 30 as we have to send the team’s name by the July 15 deadline.
