Israeli media said he was brought fully conscious from his private residence at the Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer near Tel Aviv.
‘complained of not feeling well’
Citing sources close to Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, 73, Hebrew media outlets reported that he had earlier complained of not feeling well, after which the motorcade brought Netanyahu, who was spending the weekend in Kesaria, to the Sheba Medical Center in Ramat Gan. Earlier, Netanyahu was taken to the hospital in October 2022 after chest pain. He was discharged after the test results came back normal. He also had a routine colonoscopy earlier this year in January.
Medical Tests During Foreign Visits
Benjamin Netanyahu is the longest serving leader in Israel. He has not formally nominated a caretaker prime minister since he began his second term as prime minister in 2009. Similarly, he refrained from doing so when he returned to office in late July. Had he done so, the possibility of political anarchy would have arisen.
