Pakistan Bans Holi: Some students celebrated Holi at Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad, Pakistan. A video related to this celebration also went viral. After this Pakistani University has banned Holi celebration itself. Quaid-e-Azam University also issued a notice regarding the Holi ban, in which it was said that Holi would harm the Islamic religion.
After the news of Holi ban in Pakistan, Pakistani woman journalist Arju Kazmi has retweeted a tweet of Major Gaurav Arya. In this tweet, Gaurav Arya writes that whether Pakistanis celebrate Holi or not, it is your wish. Please don’t say that it is against your culture and social norms. Your whole culture is borrowed.
Turkish flag on Pakistan’s 1000 note
Some information has also been shared in the tweet retweeted by Arju Kazmi, in which some facts related to Pakistan have been mentioned. It states that the national anthem of Pakistan is in Farsi. Turkey’s flag is on Pakistan’s 1000 note and Afghani names are written on Pakistan’s missiles. It is also a fact that Pakistan has borrowed the culture of other countries but talks about harming the religion of Islam from Indian culture.

There were also reports of clashes between students on the occasion of Holi in Pakistan’s Punjab University. At that time Holi was banned from being celebrated inside the university.
