Russia Ukraine War: A flood situation has arisen in the Russian-occupied Kherson province of southern Ukraine amid the Russia-Ukraine war after a huge dam broke. Zelensky visits flood affected areas
Significantly, Zelensky visited the flood affected areas on Thursday. Earlier, Zelensky had named it Russian terrorism due to the breaking of the dam. Zelensky also tweeted a video from the area, in which he can be seen meeting with officials. According to the AFP report, before Zelensky arrived in Kherson, there was tight security.

Regarding this visit, Zelensky said that he held a meeting where he discussed with the officials the plan to evacuate the population from the potential flood areas, the plan to deal with the emergency due to the rising water level.
three died due to drowning
The Guardian quoted local media as saying that three people have died after the Nova Khakovka dam collapsed on the Dnipro River in southern Ukraine. Three people drowned in the Russian-occupied Kherson region. In a speech earlier on Wednesday evening, Zelensky said it was impossible to predict how many people would die in Kherson due to the destruction caused by the floods. However, he claimed that relief and rescue work would be expedited.
